We had some awesome friends offer to help us do a fundraiser, either a spaghetti feed or Chicken Q on May 15. We were very excited and had planned silent auctions and raffle tickets, a DJ, kids games etc. Well things haven't gone so well since. We have gone to tons of businesses asking for donations and sharing the story of our kids and a few places have been awesome and we so appreciate it but there just hasn't been enough positive response to be able to continue. If things change and some donations come in we may be able to schedule for a later date but for right now it doesn't make sense to continue. We are bummed; we need the funds; it will happen!
I am sending our dossier documents (all except for our USCIS approval which we are still waiting for) to another family today to carry over for us! I have faith that we are meant to be on this path and that these kids are meant to be in our family! The money will be there just when we need it ( a little self pep talk:).)
