Catchy title right? Well we really are gonna need a bus, but we couldn't be more excited about it! We are adding four wonderful deserving teens to our family this year! Yes you heard me right, FOUR TEENS!
When we traveled to Eastern Europe in December 2014 to adopt Simon we couldn't help but fall in love with all the other kiddos at his Internat. An internat is an orphanage with a school right on the grounds; a pretty good place to end up if you happen to end up in an orphanage. The school is clean and the kids are loved but there isn't any extra money and the buildings are in desperate need of repair. We take so much for granted living in the USA! There were days when there was no running water while we were there, not that you can drink the water anyway because it is so contaminated that it has to be boiled before it is safe, but you could not flush the toilet! There was one useable toilet without a toilet seat even. Squattie potties are more normal where they live; it is literally a hole in the floor that you squat over. I was very lucky to only have to use them a few times and all of our apartments and hotels had wonderful western toilets. Never imagined I would be so thankful for a toilet!
